Warriors Orochi 4 Slated For Fall In The West

KOEI Tecmo Games announced on Thursday that it will release Warriors Orochi 4 (Husou Orochi 3) in North America and Europe this fall. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

KOEI Tecmo Games will release the game in Japan for Switch and PS4 this year.

The game will have 170 playable characters, which is a new record for the game series. In addition to new characters, the game will feature a new "thaumaturgy action" attack method.

Omega-Force is returning to produce the title, the first new game in the franchise in five years. The first Warriors Orochi (Musou Orochi) game featured characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises when it shipped in 2007 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
