Has anyone heard of the virophage? Its actually a rather new discovery, its a virus that's smaller than a lot of other virus' the thing that sets it apart is that it attacks larger virus'. Essentially its a virus of a virus because all virus' replicate themselves by injecting their genetic material inside a host cell which hijacks that cell and turn it into a factory of sorts to replicate itself because virus' are on the border between living and non-living things. But a virophage can't replicate like a normal virus so it hijacks a larger virus to do its dirty work for it. At the expense of the larger virus the virophage uses the larger virus to replicate itself. Virophages get its name because they were named after the bacteriophage which is a virus that goes after bacteria. Here is a website about this new virus http://www.virology.ws./2011/03/22/virophage-the-virus-eater/

I haven't heard about it before (all too technical for me) but I'm not surprised by it. There are many creatures which make use of other creatures to do their bidding so why not viruses as well.
