Tokyo Magnitude 8.0: Different ending

    Would you prefer a different ending? Where everyone lives happily ever after?

    I don't. I love the ending of this anime - you can call me a sadist if you want ;D
    The ending doesn't have a typical anime ending and is very solid - but leaves some questions unanswered - which makes it very unique.

    Definitely not, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 was a great series that I rated so highly partly because of that ending. Sure it doesn't end with everyone being happy but thats life and the fact that it mirrored this I thought was the best possible scenario. The friendship between the older woman and the two kids helped make it even more bittersweet since all the trouble she went through. But the way it was executed, it was done so well that it caught me completely off guard, now this ending is one worthy of the tag of "Feels" .
