To BlazBlue anime/video game fans...

    Hello JustDubs community. I am planning on buying BlazBlue ChronoPhantasma Extend for the PlayStation 4 in the future. I'm also planning on watching BlazBlue Alter Memory. I'm curious about whether the anime covers the majority of what happens in the first 2 games in the BlazBlue series (Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift/CS Extend). I just want to make sure. Thanks for any and all help. :)

    The anime was an atrocity. Avoid it at all costs.

    It was just soooooo rushed... Like, they skimmed over so much story, leaving out so many details, yet still decided they had enough time to have a fanservice swimsuit episode...

    Anyway...I was also planning on playing Continuum Shift Extend. Have you played that, and if so will the Calamity Trigger Reconstruction story help me understand the full story better...

    Taokaka in a swimsuit... but manages to still wear enough to conceal her face? Just a guess I am making, since I have not seen it. I stick the games.

    That seems like the most likely scenario. I'd be surprised if they revealed Tao's face anytime soon...especially that way.

    Saw that coming, huh? If anything, the Blazblue animation is a lot of fun to play the drinking game with. Just take a swig every time they have a low-budget animation scene, and you'll be out before the first episode. I haven't seen "derpier" shots since Madoka Magica, or Kanon even.

    As far as the game goes, Continuum Shift was pretty fun. I like the introduction of the newer characters like Platinum the Trinity and Lamda-1, and especially Tsubaki. But as far as the story goes, I don't envy you for trying to keep up. Also Relius joins the story in Continuum Shift, if I'm not mistaken, and his only job seems to be to make the plot harder to understand. Ah well, it's still slightly worth it in the end to get the whole picture, so good luck trying.

    Now I will never get to see Taokaka's face. That fan service was the only one that could have done it. Than again, maybe it would be best not to see her face, considering what is already seen through the hood. Those sharp teeth are scary.

    I read somewhere that she's wears a mask too. I don't remember where though. I'm probably (definitely) wrong on that...
