Although the group is at 118 complete, the original block on The Midnight Channel, Anime Saturday's, is about to view our 100th film / OVA / special. Help us out by nominating a movie / OVA / special we have to watch.

We'll be watching whatever is picked this Saturday. @bedheadred how do we determine what's picked? Do we just vote in this thread once everything has been suggested?

 

I keep forgetting this thread is here, I've gone looking for movies twice now and never made it back so I think I needed this notification. Unfortunately I haven't come across too many varied options but I'll link what I did come up with that could be different.

It isn't so much a recommendation since I haven't seen it but I'd say Gyo Tokyo fish attack

it looks so bad but that is what makes me want to watch it so maybe others will see this as an enjoyableB grade horror movie. Kind of a gamble since I don't know anyone from this community that has seen it to give an opinion of it.

The anime movie that was the inspiration behind Inception might also be a good watch for everyone, this one I actually really enjoyed myself and the music is great

The Daft Punk album movie is a good watch if people like those sorts of tunes, I thought it was really well done even without any dialogue at all so it would make for an easy watch to discuss

But perhaps something kid friendly but completely nonsensical could be entertaining, now I know Ghibli movies don't usually do too well with the group, but something about shapshifting Tanuki fighting to keep their forest from the humans I found to be hilarious in part so I simply want to add this to your options

Yes, those were perfect, thanks. For 100 member milestones we normally do marathons, so I think doing a mixture of multiple films that were nominated here will work best for us. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
