What we'll be doing
We're going to vote on an anime series, watch it, and then discuss it. It's like a book club, but for watching anime. Sounds fun, right?

Our purpose
The reason I'm reviving this concept is because I'd like to be able to watch an anime and then discuss it with the other members of the forum. Hopefully everyone can watch the selected series, have fun, and then discuss it on this thread.

How it'll work out
Members of the group will post the series they'd like to watch on the nomination thread and the first five posted will be the nominated series. Members of the group will then vote for the series they'd most like to watch on a separate thread. Each member will select TWO options on the poll and no more than two. When the anime series has been decided I'll notify the club members informing them to begin watching the given series.

Tiebreaker
In the case that it's a tie between anime, a second voting thread will be opened to break the tie, if there's a second tie between anime, we'll use random.org to break the tie, will make it fair and post the results on the tiebreaker thread

Watching schedule
The watching schedule is very simple, every week we will watch 9 episodes of a given series, or 1-2 episodes per day. At the end of that week we'll begin discussion on those nine episodes and start the next episode set the day after. It's preferable that everyone maintains the pace of one or two episodes a day, but if you can't hold yourself back that's alright. Just don't start discussing those nine episodes until the week is over. Extra time will be allotted for series that have specials, OVA's, or movies.

TV Series
Week One: Episodes 1-9
Week Two: Episodes 10-18
Week Three: Episodes 19-26

Movies
Up to 1 Week for a movie.

Rules & Regulations​

1.- You can't nominate a given series twice in a row.
2.- As a member of this club you are required to watch the given series unless you have already seen the series.
3.- If you don't like the series we are currently watching don't just drop it, finish it with the rest of us and explain to us why you dislike it. Then we can at least have a discussion on why you didn't like it and why we agree/disagree with you.
4.- Please only reply to this thread if you want to join the club or if you're talking about the series the group is watching.
5.- Only join this club if you are willing to follow the rules, actively participate, and have fun.

Movie Nomination Rules​

1.-The movies can’t be sequels to an anime if the group hasn't watch the anime (i.e. Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa can’t be nominated)
2.-It can’t be a movie that the group already watched
3.-If the movie has a sequel, we can also watch those other movies (i.e. Berserk movies) (optional)
4.-If said movie is not a continuation of the anime or is in the storyline, then it can be watched (i.e. Bleach movies)
5.-In case it’s a movie series, we’ll watch all the movies (i.e. Towa no Quon) (optional)

And untill when do we have to watch it?

 

I did send a message to everyone's e-mail saying until when the discussion thread will open, but just in case:

The discussion thread will open on the 20th, you'll have till then to watcht the given anime, I can extend the date if someone has problems like tests or something like that

Sounds like this can be a pretty heavy anime. I just came off a serious show recently
so it looks like i'm going back into the frey. I hope my body can take it.

i remember this anime it was a good watch but the manga was made b4 but happens after this story which made no sense to me

@Natsu: Hopefully that will work out. It wouldn't be a prob I don't think if I watched it now but I'd rather watch it uncensored so I'll hold off for now and thanks for the extension.
