Tab for a Cause

In the latest VSauce vid I saw, there was this thing called "Tab for a Cause" that lets you help charities by pretty much simply doing your standard internet browsing. From my understanding, it works by changing the setup of the "New tab" in your browser to have charity-related news, and display ads from sponsors, which donate a fraction of a cent each time you see their ads on the new tab. At first, this "fraction of a cent" doesn't seem like much, but imagine the combined contribution it would generate from everyone who has the extension installed, and the minimal effort it actually requires.
I'm pretty sure it pauses Adblock for the new tabs, but if it doesn't, do it yourself, cause it's in the seeing of the ads that money is generated for the charities.
