Strawberry Marshmallow

Ichigo Mashimaro is a heartwarming series that follows the daily lives of Itoh Chika, her sister Nobue, and her friends Miu, Matsuri, and Ana.

What do you Justdubians think of Strawberry Marshmallow?​

 

I love this anime's opening song. It's a simple watch with more cuteness and humor than drama.

One thing I'd like to note is that Itou Nobue, the older sister, claims in the first episode that she is in college while in the manga she is in high school. The change was made because the smoking age in Japan is 20. Therefore the anime bumped her age, I believe to 21. However Nobue's school in the anime has uniforms while colleges in Japan do not use uniforms. Also her school building looks more like a high school and the class structures seem that way. I guess the anime wanted to stay as true to the original as possible but because of only changing the age and not her school too some loop holes like the ones I've mentioned appear.
