    It's that time of year again. Please nominate 32 characters who represent the theme. Nomination can be (but are not limited to) demons, monsters, supernatural creatures and beings. Ryuk - Death Note and Alucard - Hellsing are not eligible for this game as they were last years winners.

    Let's see if I can go 3/3 on nominating the winner of the game.

    Haha @dedseed1 nominating a voice actor as a monster, that doesn't seem very nice. I know I find dubs worse now than subs in most cases but to call her a monster for her performance just seems mean.
    I take it your nominee is Sunako Kirishiki, but I haven't seen the series yet so I can't be sure. I'll let you fix that up when you want.

    @Batosai I like the idea of nominating a person as a monster, Johan will most likely have my vote because he is a true monster.


    As for me, I'll have to give this theme some thought. I like the genre but too often are the monsters and spirits treated as side characters. As such I'll just leave one from a currently airing series

    I think a person like Johan is alot more spooky than an actualy monster where you see it at his appearance. Johan fools you with his fake smile and when you're just about to trust him he kills you. A true monster indeed. And Ovyda recently told me he found Monster a spooky series, which can only be because of Johan.

    It's generally discouraged since once someone wins one they don't really need to win another. But I guess we've never outright banned it. previous winners are banned so the same guy doesn't win every time.

    So yeah I would recommend not nominating winners of other eliminations but if Spor says it's okay then it passes at least.

    My understanding of the rule was as Spor stated. Hence why I nominated her. Characters can have multiple traits and, thus, can be good fits for multiple categories. So it would make sense that a character that wins one category might have a chance to win another, as well.

    That said, if it's a big deal, we can remove her. I'm really not bothered, either way. :3

    It's just it can be annoying if someone keeps nominating the same character every month using stretched logic and even more so if they are a popular character who keeps getting to the final rounds on popularity alone rather than fitting the theme properly.

    That is why I said nominating someone who won another category isn't recommended at least IMO.

    And this is literally the first time I've heard someone say this. I remember recently, can't remember who specifically, someone was up for vote and a bunch of us intentionally voted against them because they had already won a previous game. I think when someone wins twice in any game we can ban them from all future games. Otherwise they are just ineligible to be nominated for a theme in which they have already won.
