This year's September issue of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine announced on July 24 that Snow White with the Red Hair's Sorata Akiduki will write a one-shot manga in the October issue on August 24. In addition, the magazine announced that guest one-shots for Meca Tanaka's Faster than a Kiss and Ken Saito's Kawaii Hito will run in the December issue on October 24.

Sorata's "Hokorobi no Lamp" (Torn Lamp, pictured above) follows a girl who is studying magic to protect her island, and someone she partners with. The preview image shows a girl with a magic lamp.

Sorata launched Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (Snow White with the Red Hair) in LaLa in 2006, and it is ongoing. The manga inspired two television anime that premiered in 2015 and 2016. FUNimation Entertainment released both series on home video in North America.

Tanaka serialized her Faster than a Kiss manga (pictured above) in LaLa from 2007 to 2012. The manga follows orphaned siblings Fumino and Teppei, who move from relative to relative until Fumino's 24-year-old teacher Kazuma takes them in. Kazuma agrees to marry 16-year old Fumino to take full responsibility for them, for Teppei's sake.

Tanaka just ended her Kimi no Koto Zettai ni manga in the September issue of LaLa after serializing it since 2014. She is also irregularly serializing her Asa made Matemasen! manga, and a new chapter is slated to run in the October issue of AneLaLa on September 5.

Tokyopop published Tanaka's Pearl Pink manga in North America, and Viz Media has published her Meteor Prince manga. CMX Manga published Tanaka's Omukae desu. manga, which inspired a live-action television series last year.

Ken Saito's Kawaii Hito (Cute Person) manga (pictured above) launched in Hakusensha's AneLala magazine in September 2014, and it is ongoing. The fourth compiled volume shipped on April 4. The manga follows a florist who has a scary face but is cute when he smiles.

CMX Manga published Saito's Oh! My Brother and The Name of the Flower manga in North America.
