    My mum blatantly hates Mother's day, something along the lines of "Here's a small gift, I'll do something nice for you again in a year."
    But her birthday is the day after, so me and my brother are going halves in getting her a gold necklace with her initial as the not-chain bit.

    Funny... this year, I got my mom flowers too. Roses this time though, and a card. Last year though, I gave her a pot of bamboo (shoots?) and it has grown since then. ^^'' I did give her a peace lily two years prior too.. I can't believe those two are still surviving. The roses did not though...  >_
