Macross Saga - In the year 1999, an alien battle-fortress crashes on an island in the Pacific. Over the next ten years, mankind repairs and refits this fortress, using the advanced "robo-technology" found aboard it to create fighter planes that can transform into giant robots. As soon as the repaired fortress is ready for launch, the aliens to whom it belongs finally discover its location. Thus begins a series of wars that will devastate the planet earth. This television series was created by Carl Macek from three Japanese television series, Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada.

Masters - Coming back to earth, the Robotech Expeditionary Forces is wiped out by the Invid, the newest alien threat to the earth. The sole survivor, Scott Bernard, continues to travel towards Reflex Point to fulfill his mission. Along the way, he gets help from the most unlikely band of people imaginable.

New Generation - Without warning in the year 2050, an alien race known only as the Inbit arrive, invade and successfully conquer the Earth. Years later and despite brutal past failures, the inhabitants of Mars Colony send out yet another desperate Liberation Force to try and reclaim their lost home world. The fleet is all but destroyed. However, a lone survivor, Stig Bernard, finds himself on Earth. Gathering a mere handful of resistance fighters, Stig journeys on towards the Inbit’s headquarters at Reflex Point in an attempt to gather intelligence and, possibly, discover a way to beat them.

Shadow Chronicles - The war between the Robotech Expeditionary Force and the Invid comes to an unexpected end when the Regess and her Invid spawn retreat from Earth, leaving behind her daughter Ariel, who had developed a love for the planet and mankind. However, all is not well when Ariel receives a premonition of a new threat to Earth. Meanwhile, upon arriving at Admiral Hunter and the SDF-3′s last known location, Vince Grant and his crew encounter an unknown enemy and are forced to fold back to home base without the SDF-3.

Oh yeah I saw this one. I was on a Robotech binge. Defenitely one for the fans. Shame the legal issues regarding this licence are out of wack. Such is life.
