Anyone that has seen this series knows exactly what I mean, women that become lustful slaves, torture, self sacrifice, murder, and even the final plot twist. This series is a mass of  themes that generally turn the lesser crowd away in either disgust or cowardice from just hearing some of these themes. So the question is do you think it was too much or was it the right amount of everything needed to make this memorable for one reason or another *cough*rape, yuri sex scenes, blood*cough*?

Personally I found it to fall into the weirdly brilliant side, the way the story progressed was so intriguing that I felt compelled to keep watching only to be restricted due to the time. For me the scenes mentioned above are major parts of what makes this series even though a lot of others would frown upon some of them. A dark natured show needs compelling scenes, and this definitely delivers that and more in a large way, mostly through shock value but some of the emotional portrayals were great too.
I find it weird that out of all the characters Kouki and the cop were my favourites then Rin, I mean the main character places third after all that she went through.

My only complaint was episode 5 and 6, I found this show absolutely great up until episode 4 ended. And although they were needed to bring a sense of closure to this show I personally would of found it better had they of not been made. For whatever reason it was, I just couldn't like them as much as the other episodes, I think it was because how much was forced to change since the obvious time skip  from the last events.

One last thing to help with the creepy side of this thread, naked tower of women anyone?
