    Name says it all. I'll start with an unexpected one. Found this image from Macross 7 and look! It's a Kuriboh on her shoulder. o_o

    I'm pretty sure Yu-gi-oh! as well as Kuriboh came way after Macross 7 did so this is very surprising. :)

    ^ Yeah I had seen that before, it is interesting regardless of why they are there.

    Okay lets get things started with hopefully the most well known ones that are legit, the characters of the clamp universe. They appear in pretty much everything created after their initial release. Clamp seems to like their characters and would reuse them as often as possible.

    Then Isaac and Miria from Baccano appearing in Durarara with lines, although this show referenced many different series including shana, hell girl, darker than black, spice and wolf, bludgeoning angel dokuro chan and they are just the ones off the top of my head.

    Next up we have Sawa from Kite walking past a scene in Mezzo Forte, yes she does nothing but walk past but it is definitely her and they are both from the same creator.

    Now for some short anime series crossovers, starting with the lucky star girls appearing in Miyakawa ke no kuufuku [once again same universe and creator but different series technically] incidentally there is a miku figure in their apartment and in one specific scene 2 copies of the Senyuu DVD are held up and are the focal point of the shot [cover art being Ross and Alba the protagonists]. Next in Senyuu we have the appearance of Wooser  from wooser no sono higurashi which appears in at least 2 frames, one being a descendent of the legendary hero and another just in a town. Wooser himself seems to get around a bit and has also appeared in the closing still shot artwork of the most recent episode [2] of Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova, and was also seen in Aiura as a plushie in an early episode. There is also another short called shiba inuko san, the MC of which being shiba inuko san herself, made an appearance in Ai Mai Mi [I believe it was and if not it was another all female short I have seen, possibly teekyuu] where the skit revolved around a large gathering of dogs [of which miss shiba is a student with the appearance of a dog].
    Well thats it for all the ones I know/remember for now

    To answer the question of where those pics come from allow me to help, the top one is from ServantxService and also included references to bakemonogatari, the toaru series, fate kaleid and anohana. The bottom one google tells me is from genshiken nidaime, upon a closer comparison to its cover art [I haven't seen it] it does look like one of the characters from it so I would believe it.

    I also saw characters from Familiar of Zero (even though I've yet to see it) when I watched Asobini Iku yo!.

    Who are Ui and Azunyan and what anime are they from? :confused: I never even realised that a was a reference to another anime.

    @veritasodiumparit Ui and Azunyan are from K-On!, which is also made by Kyoto Animation. It's more along the lines they look very similar, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was an actual cameo.

    @mafiacow, yes that is Hanekawa's clothing in that pic I already had listed every show that that scene referenced above. Seeing Kyubey in bakemonogatari isn't surprising since both are from shaft, I know I never noticed that. Also about yui and azu no they are just a look alike I am fairly sure about this, now I can't be sure which exact episode it is but I believe they appeared in the endless 8 episodes [right?] of the 2nd season which aired in 09, while looking at k-on it also began airing in 09. Now even giving it the benefit of the doubt and say that those kids appeared in the first haruhi series that was only 06   so your saying that in 3 years time they grew that much. Yes I know its anime and they can do whatever the hell they want but cameos are typically plausible occurrences between two similar shows that wont particularly screw over either setting should they collide, or at least thats how I view a cameo at least.

    Update about my last big post, Wooser has had another appearance in a show, he was the main focus of a scene in episode 4 of Miss Monochrome, I like this little guy.

    @Supernatural-Knight Yeah, I was just confirming that it was actually Hanekawa's.
    The Kyubey cameo was actually from Nisemonogatari, not Bake.
    And regarding the Ui Azunyan cameo: Yeah, it was in the Endless Eight, I think the part where Haruhi says "These two guys are my brigade members. They do what I say, so if you need something, ask them." And yep, both anime were made in '09, but that doesn't really make it less of a cameo, seeing as my knowledge of the Death Note/FMP cameo says it happened like five years before Death Note was anime'd. KyoAni probably thought with Haruhi and K-On!, "Hey, we're making both these anime, so why don't we do this?"

    Oh sweet, just realised I'mma be able to watch the Lucky Star OVA after I watch the series in sub after I finish Haruhi in sub. :D
