Anywhoo back to the article. How many of you would like to sit down at a meal, whether traditional Japanese or any meal and have these cute little things sitting on your table to rest your chops on? For some you might have to put down the fork and learn to use chopsticks. It isn't that hard once you get the hang of it.

These little rests were created to keep chopsticks off the table (for you germaphobe out there this is just for you). Some restaurants will provide customers with wooden chopsticks wrapped in paper, giving diners the fun opportunity to fold their own rests. Meanwhile the fancies restaurants in Japan you might come across one with the non- disposable versions. Hashioki, another name for chopstick rests are made out of ceramic, but there are some that are made of glass, and others made of flexible aluminum.

    "Gotta love having options right?"

Some rests are shaped into animal themes, food, or even favorite Disney characters. Whatever your preference these little things will keep your hashi (Japanese for chopsticks) nice and clean.

So how many would use these cute little things to keep their chops/ hashi's clean??

I like the little wiener dog ones and the bear ISN"T IT ADWABLE!!

Until next time readers. Ta ta for now

I want that panda bear set. The top one looks like he's pooped from a long day, the left one looks like he fell on his bed and can't get back up, and the the right one is doing the belly flop. Why is he doing a belly flop? I have no idea but It would be great to contemplate that during the entire time I'm eating.
