    All credit to IGN.

So this is the NES Classic being unboxed and my first thought is, 'How did they mess up the wire length!? What were Nintendo thinking!? Why isn't it Wireless!?'

I got this thing! Well my older sister did. Poor Rob never survived our destroyed home during Hurricane Andrew back then. That laser gun was really cool though, the system was passed down to me eventually. I wonder what I did to it?

I'm fine with the controllers not being wireless, but that cord length is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure the cords on my SNES controllers are longer.

I'm considering picking this up. Failing that, I may buy a refurbished NES and a few games. My cousins had a NES when I was a kid, so I've played it a bit. But my dad ended up getting a SNES as a gift, so I spent most of my childhood on that and the N64. I still have both of them, in good condition, and play them from time to time.

I'd buy it just so I can play some of the old games again. I'd love to be able to play some of the games I couldn't get my hands on. I'm not old enough to necessarily have grown up with the system but my household only had the NES and SNES when I was growing up. I didn't get the PS, PS2 and all that jazz. I grew up playing the old games while all my friends got Crash Bandicoot and Final Fantasy 7. My dad wouldn't let me touch some of his old games. And now I understand why. Some of them are so rare that there are only 100 of them left that actually work.
