Naruto x Boruto: Ninja Voltage Game App Heads West

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe revealed on Tuesday that its Naruto x Boruto: Ninja Voltage iOS and Android game will get a release in the West. The announcement did not reveal the game's Western release date.



The game is slated for release in Japan this year.

The "fortress action ninja battle" strategy game will be free to play with the option to purchase in-game items. Players will be able to create a fortress, set traps, and attack fortresses of other players from around Japan. The game will feature "super high quality character illustrations."

The game will have a preregistration campaign where those who preregister will be able to receive Boruto for the game.

Bandai Namco Entertainment previously developed the Naruto Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Blazing (Naruto Shippūden Narutimate Blazing) smartphone game, which received an English release last year.
