Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Heads West For Switch

    CAPCOM announced on Thursday that it will release Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe under the title Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. The game is slated for release on August 28.



    Players will be able to transfer their save data from Monster Hunter Generations (Monster Hunter X) on Nintendo3DS.

    CAPCOM did not announce a Western release for the 3DS version of Monster Hunter XX

    CAPCOM released the Monster Hunter X 3DS game in Japan in November 2015, then released Monster Hunter XX for 3DS in March 2017. Monster Hunter XX shipped for Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 25.

    Nintendo released Monster Hunter X in July 2016 in the West under the title Monster Hunter Generations.
