Question is using Melee weapon users with long rage attacks cheating? Like Ichigo and his Getsuga Tenshou? Technically he is a Melee weapon user but he attacks from long range with GT more than with his sword. Also are weapons like gun swords or characters who use both guns and swords banned? This has nothing to do with my nomination I just thought this should be made clear for other nominations.

I don't see why fists wouldn't be okay. Grappling or any kinda fist related form of combat is just as valid as sword fighting. But I do wodner about someone like Yuske Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakoshou it might be a problem because he has his spirit gun power which is obviously a long range attack. So we do need some confirmation on this and my previous question.But Touma's only power is to cancel out any power he touches so he has no long range abilities as far as I know.

It is up to you whether you want to pick a nominee that would win or one you really, really like that may not perform as well.
Well sure but given the theme is Melee I was wondering if that meant Melee only since weapons like gun blades or people who use guns and swords are a grey area in terms of being Melee fighters.
