    Elimination Rules:
    1. YOU MUST TALLY THE VOTE AS YOU GO. IF YOU DON’T TALLY, YOUR VOTE IS NULL.
    2. This is a game and should be treated as such. Please keep your butthurt to a minimum.
    3. Final votes will be tallied nightly by myself or another designated individual at 9 pm PST.
    4. Votes posted after the final tally is called do not count toward elimination.
    5. Votes on new accounts made specifically to turn the tide of an elimination will be nullified. If you suspect a new account to be fraudulent, you must call for a Moderator to check the IP before the round ends. If an account is found to be fraudulent during a match, the vote will be nullified. Previous voting will not be overturned.
    6. Anyone bending or breaking the rules will be disqualified.
    7. Tie votes will be decided by the “Choose a Number Game.”
    8. Rules are subject to change as deemed necessary.

    The basic Guren MkII isn't even capable of flight until it gets the slight upgrade and this version was upgraded further. It's only fair to use a mech as it's best when judging it.

    Now lets look at Django. Can't find a nice spec list on him so I'll just list what I remember. He has wheels on his feel and it capable of keeping up with a high speed car. He is rather lightly equipted in terms of weapons and mostly relies on two handguns it can carry for weaponry. He also has no flight system (But I think I remember him having boosters so he can get airborn for a short time he just can't really manuever well in the air).

    Since most of the Mecha aren't sentient the Criteria I intend to use to decide my vote are function and design.

    In terms of weapons a fully upgraded Gurren is far more powerful than Jango. Even you take away most of Gurren's weapons he still has sheilding and flight capabilities. Which means Jango could never hit Gurren. Other cybots in burst angel had better armaments so jango wasn't completely limited by the level of technology of his series and was likely given so little equipment to make the fights seem more epic.

    In terms of design Gurren is also the obvious winner. I never really liked Jango's design much and the top of his head looks like a cowboy hat and when you combine that with the fact that he only has two hand guns as weapons he is more like an over sized cowboy made of metal.Gurren has those awesome looking energy wings and a red color scheme.

    Doesn't really matter what we call it. The order they appear in the elimination has already been established so if you're a regular voter, which most everyone here is, you should know what Gurren you're voting for.

    Besides, isn't one spelled Guren and the other spelled Gurren?
