    Please nominate 32 different Mecha from this competition. Nominations will close on the 21st and I will announce when second nominations can be done. Last year's winner Guren Mk II cannot be nominated.

    It should also be noted that Guren Mk-II from Code Geass is ineligible for this game as it is the previous MECHAugust winner.

    I'm nominating Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I'd go with Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann but that seems more like a transcendent god-like being rather than a mecha.

    It may not have the bells and whistles of later Gundams, or even be as flashy as most mecha, but it is a classic (for nostalgia's sake, if nothing else).

    Yeah but your typically see them as weapons not something to nominate plus there are so many it's actually a bit hard to pick which one.
