True Calendar (T.C.) 71 - A new age where 70% of the human population lives in space thanks to the development of "Dyson Sphere", a city in space.

The world is divided into two main powers: The Dorssia Military Pact Federation, a power which grew out of a military alliance, and the Atlantic Rim United States (ARUS), which grew in power as it expanded its trade agreements. The minor nation of JIOR has declared neutrality between these two forces and maintains its peace through economic prosperity.

Within the JIOR's Sphere, Haruto Tokishima lived an ordinary life as a high school student in the division known as "Module 77"—until the Dorssian military begins their sudden invasion!

But the whole world will be shaken when Haruto meets the mysterious humanoid weapon, Valvrave!

 

I'm still watching it but meh, it isn't exactly that good. I don't like any of characters, their civilisation just seems to work despite being cut off from other nations/modules I mean where do they get all of their food as there aren't any animals there either. Also jumping into a mech and being able to fight instantly I'm over those types of plots and the fights, is it just me or are they hard to follow?

As far as I am concerned this has only been going downhill since it started, any scene without L elf is just crap as he is the best character and really should do more. The deaths I thought were interesting since they weren't afraid to kill characters but even that seems hollow and meaningless as basically the dead are forgotten and thats it. Then there was the rape which came to nothing seriously they didn't think mentioning it in the next ep was important, we had an awkward encounter that can be summed up as a date  and lastly a marriage proposal to the character I happen to like the least in this show. So yeah enjoyment is way down for me on this series, so much for my hopes of it being a decent mecha show.

 

They were meant to be preparing to pilot the valvraves, yet when L elf started their fitness regime it was basically killing them, and their military knowledge is way down. Tactics, ideals, and even battle readiness are definitely not what you'd want from a soldier. Maybe it was some sort of training but they are yet to elaborate and so far it seems that they only wanted to find pilots not teach them considering no one knew they were there. Info injection does sound interesting but.... yeah I don't know since it is their humanity they throw away and gaining knowledge isn't really throwing away your humanity.

Okay so her death initially meant something, it made 2 others become pilots once again knowing how to operate it perfectly, but since then she has been in a pic and the boyfriend of her hasn't mentioned her again as far as I can recall. Since she was set up to be main cast I would have thought she'd be referenced more as seen with other shows *cough*gurren lagann*cough*, so to see only minimal recollections of her is weird. The deaths being meaningless, they killed x amount of people and a declaration was made, but everyone is happy and no one has payed any respects to the mass grave they have somewhere behind the school. I hope Shouko goes yandere or something good, I think she becomes the pilot of the purple one but I hope she does something good and by good I mean bad.

Well too cowardice to confess, raping someone and proposing is original at least from what I have seen,  doesn't exactly warrant much credit to be given considering it fails on many other areas. Characters, plot, progression of these things so most have been pretty limited. Maybe giving them [the characters] more depth or explaining some stuff [plot holes] would be beneficial but so far I can only say that I am impressed by the original quirk of the MC and some of the animation as long as they aren't in combat. I think currently I am rating it 5 or 6 depending on the final ep since the only thing I've enjoyed since the first ep was L elf's prison escape.

 

Need to catch up on this as well. I'll probably do that tonight.
