@sporadic are we still going to try this today or do you want to give it until next week before the first attempt? I never got around to sharing this info with my club members that would be likely to attend so I'd only expect a very small turnout [with less than 24 hours notice] that would consist of mostly leftovers from the special airing before it.
I'm also thinking with how far through Log Horizon and Kill la Kill is we could overlook them and start with the showing of episodes 1+2 of Space Dandy and Nobunaga the Fool to allow for new members straight away to pick them up. What your thoughts?

 

@Supernatural-knight Yeah I think waiting till next week to begin would be the best. This way you can make your announcement to The New Release Club members and they can be prepared with a little notice. It would be at 5PM PST(-8:00 GMT) next week. Which I believe is 12PM Monday for you Super (if my GMT conversion is correct). And we can just feature all the current episodes of Dandy and Nobunaga like you said so everyone can catch up right there if they need to. Also, I wouldn't mind showing KlK and LH as well. We could just begin with the current episode and leave people who aren't caught up to watch on their own time.

 

Sounds like a plan, to help those that might not be caught up for KlK and LH I think they should be shown after the new activities that way there is a bit of a warning for everyone else to leave beforehand. Well  guess I better give the announcement, maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

I believe your conversion to be accurate, I ended up with the same time when I did it so either we are both right or both wrong. Time will tell.

 

Should be accurate. I double checked your time on Skype when I figured it out. Already set up the times. Since we're showing 1-3 of both Dandy and Nobunaga I figured we can hold off on LH and KlK till the following week. So the schedule will look a little like this the first week. And then settle in permanently based on the second weeks schedule. Seem good to you?

So i dont have to watch Space Dandy and Nobunaga on my own then? Good. i can remove Space Dandy from my too big of a weekly list. Sucks that i just wasted my time on Nobunaga ep 2 though


Yeah I figured this was also a good way to push along the weeklies for people who were falling behind.

I know I keep forgetting to do this, screw it I'll do it right after finishing this post for sure this time.

About the line up, I was thinking that after this weekend there will be 3 eps each of space dandy and nobunaga the fool. So do you think you'd manage eps 1-3 of space dandy and ep 1 of nobunaga? The goal is to reach 4 episodes each Sunday for my club, the next sunday would then be ep 4 of dandy and 2-4 of nobunaga. Then the third sunday can be the new ep of all four of the activities and just ignore backtracking for log horizon and kill la kill. What do you think?

EDIT: Just saw that you think we'd be able to manage 6 episodes on the first attempt, if you're willing to try it then I'm all for showing six episodes, why wait any longer like I suggested when it is possible to do it this way?

 

Yeah I figure since it's not a lot we'll do the 1-3 of Dandy and Nobunaga so anyone watching can be current. Then we can drop down to the regular 4 episodes a week of all the activities so it matches your clubs weekly goal. And I think if we keep LH and KlK as the last two anyone not caught up can easily sign off when Dandy and Nobunaga are over. I'm not caught up on the last two but I plan to be by the time next week rolls around. And even if we just get all New Release Club members it'll be a good way for us to enjoy the activities together.
