Notice JAN Advertisements and What to Expect

As some of you might have noticed, ads are popping back up on our sites. The forum ads should be ready and set with adsense and JD and JDA is slowly being populated with another ad service. JD was auto denied for adsense because of the DMCA complaints it has had in the past. So we had to use adsense strictly on the forum and another ad service on JD. I feel bad because I had originally hoped we could keep the forum ad free as a perk to our dedicated posters. But since this other ad service doesn't make as much as adsense it had to be done to keep up on site revenue and income.

However, if you have donated or are a staff member you will not see ads. Registered forum members should see no more than 2 ads per page and guests who are not logged in will see no more than 3 ads per page. Users on JD will see no more than 3 ads per page (usually an ad in the header, footer and sidebar).

If you can not see the ads, please let us know. Ads are an integral part of our website and provide the money to fund things like our server, domain names, forum software, premium plugins/add-ons and community driven events. If you enjoy our community please help support us!

It took Google 3 days finally display the ads once the code was added to the forum. They like to be very thorough I guess.

Ads are now being displayed for guests and members. Staff and donators should not be seeing ads. If you have donated in the past, please post here so we can remove the ads for you. Removal of ads is a complimentary gift when donating or donating for forum perks.
