How do you watch your anime?

I originally posted this question on the FB page cause i was lazy but Red convinced me topost it here as well: So what do you use to watch you anime? Desktop? Laptop? Console? DVD? Blueray? Video? TV? Other?

Me? I hook up my Laptop to my television and stream. The picture quality isn't all that great (my TV's over 20 years old now and it took quite a bit of tweekin' with that laptop's resolution to actually get it to work) but it's nice to be able to sit back and relax in a proper chair whilst watching the anime.

 

I watch it on my laptop. I download it and then watch it with VLC media player. Full screen ofcourse unless i'm watching together with someone on skype.

 

I watch my anime with lub-, oh wait.
I watch my anime on my laptop, downloaded, with VLC, and full screen.

As I put on the page, I watch on my laptop with VLC if I've downloaded it, and on my 55" tv with my bluray player if it's a dvd.

 

So that's 3 so far going for a download over streaming it seems. Laptops are popular too, i guess for convenience, tho i can't imagine watching anime on such a small screen or so up close personally.

Man I wish I still had my beanbag chair.

I usually stream them to my desktop computer. Every once in a while I would download one for viewing on my tv. How you ask? My Nintendo Wii can do magic and playback movies from USB sticks.

 

I usually watch anime downloaded, streamed or on disk on my laptop, laying down on a bed or couch or layed back in a chair with some kinda drink in my hand.

 

Here is what I mean by my uncomfortable desktop. I live in a teeny apartment. My “office” is an armoire wedged between the laundry closet and the kitchen. I “sit” on my high-top chair and work. When I say “sit” I mean, cook, do dishes, do laundry and generally run around doing woman’s work like making DRTAdmin sammiches. I watch anime with the eyeballs in the back of my head.

As for me I usually watch my anime on Crunchyroll whenever I have the chance, but if an anime like Attack of Titan is licensed, it's restricted and I can't watch it unless it's on a different site. I also buy alot of my anime too, and watch it. Like how I'll be purchasing and rewatching Vividred Operation once it comes out on DVD because Madman had the bright idea to license it.

My computer is kinda broken and my laptop is a million times faster. That's why i use laptop. The small screen doesn't bother me alot but i haven't tried to get them on my tv yet. Might try it sometime.

 

@Bedheadred: That is probably the most bizarre desktop set up i've ever seen! And i've seen some pretty bizarre set ups in my work as an IT Technician.

I watch anime on my laptop laying in bed usually. sometimes i might sit up in bed, but usually laying down

 

Easy, I watch anime on my laptop, either by downloading them and using VLC player or via a site that has the anime

 

I managed to get Detective Conan and Bakuman via my ps3 video player on my tv. Looks great when downloaded. So this can be added to my list

 

i have a duel screen monitor, so I work whilst I watch anime , its easier that why, or I crawl up in bed, and snuggle down with my laptop
