    I recommend watching Serial Experiments Lain, Haibane Renmei and Paranoia Agent.

    I know I keep recommending them, but it's surprising how not many people on this site have seen them :p

    I suggest that you watch 07 ghost, Ef: memories, Kokoro Connect , and Kamisama kiss.

    But if I had to nominate only one, I would say 07 ghost.

    I know, I'm working on it. Also, I surprised you didn't recommend Black Lagoon or something similar (I have a lot of need-to-watch animes not on my list).
    To everyone: thanks for those that have responded, I'll take a look when I can. I like most genres too with the exceptions of harems, heavy ecchi, yaoi/BL, and sports. I have been known to make exceptions if the anime is really good, so don't be hesitant if your suggestion has one or more of those genres. Yuri/shoujo-ai is also very appreciated.

    It's delightful yes, especially in the second season.

    Officially my 100th anime, thanks to the Anime Cafe, will be Symphogear. I'll also be finishing up a few other animes I've been watching. Thanks to everyone that gave me a recommendation.
