Hero Bank DS Game's Anime Staff, Cast Announced

    Sega announced the cast on Monday for the upcoming anime adaptation of the 3DS game Hero Bank. The cast includes:

    Yuko Sanpei as Kaito Kōshō
    Hiroshi Kamiya as Nagare Amano
    Miyuki Sawashiro as Mitsuo Zaizen
    Kazuya Nakai as Fukuta Kanemaru
    Banjou Ginga as Sennen
    Houko Kuwashima as Ai Kōshō
    Yuka Komatsu as Hikari Takarano
    Kenyuu Horiuchi as Junshu Adachi
    Bin Shimada as Kurayasu Kōshō
    Yu Kobayashi as Isshin Kaimei
    Tetsu Inada as Tetsunosuke Kinnari
    Hisao Egawa as Shishio Torai
    Ryotaro Okiayu as Debora Kizaki
    Ryota Takeuchi as Rohan Yuri
    Ayumi Fujimura as Sen Tatsuzato
    Shiori Izawa as Mashiro Kyōshī
    Shintarō Ōda as Jikkyō

    In addition, the site announced that Atsuhiro Tomioka will be in charge of series composition and TMS Animation will be in charge of animation. Yasutaka Yamamoto will direct the series.

    The anime centers around Kaito, an elementary school boy who is suddenly burdened with 10 billion yen (about US$100 million) in debt one day. The only way he can pay off the debt is to master "Hero-Gi" (downloaded off the net) and win matches in "Hero Battle," a new-generation cyber sport. The tagline of the game "Change your money with justice!"

    The Hero Bank 3DS game will ship in Japan on March 20 while the anime will premiere on TV Tokyo channels on Monday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m.
