    Animation production company Sunrise is listed as the registrant on a "Gundam-Nt.net" domain name that was registered on April 5.

    Sunrise's Mobile Suit Gundam mecha science-fiction franchise began in 1979 with the first television series, and has continued with multiple sequels and spinoffs since then. The latest anime projects in the franchise include the currently-airing Gundam Build Divers anime, the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Originanime (the sixth and final episode of which opens in Japanese theaters on May 5), and the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans anime, which aired its first season from 2015 to 2016, and a second season from 2016 to 2017.
