Nexon America announced on Tuesday that it is offering early access packs for it and Neople's Ghost in the Shell First Assault: Stand Alone Complex Online first-person shooter game. These packs will grant users access to the game beginning on December 14. I'm nearly positive i'll be getting one of these packs myself.

The four early access packs range in price from US$4.99 to US$29.99, offering more content for higher tiers. Players can also sign up on the game's website for a chance at joining early access or late beta tests.

The game features characters from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime. Players will be able to choose from multiple attributes: Speed, which increases a character's overall agility; Power, which gives the players weapons such as arm rockets; Stealth, which allows players to become invisible; Detect, which lets players see incoming enemies or use recon robots, and Support, which allows players to build turrets. Skill Share also combines team strength and helps with assists.

Nexon announced in 2012 that the company had signed an agreement with Japanese publisherKodansha to develop and release a PC online game based on the anime titles Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society. Nexon expected to launch the "Hacking FPS" game in early 2014. The game's original name was Ghost in the Shell: First Connection Online.

Nexon will release the game in North America before its global release. You can also locate it on Steam.

    Also a "SIDENOTE"
Nexon will first release the game not only in North America, but in many regions in the West listed.

Yes it does have Tachikoma Tanks in the Terminal Conquest gameplay mode. There strong and hard to put down, but are prone to being hacked to knock out their shielding system. I've got nearly 20 hours into the game an iv'e been enjoying it. Still there are aspects it's missing from the show but overall it's not that bad.

I purchased a copy on Steam and it's alright. I'm not big on First Person Shooters, but it was right up there with Killzone as far as my likability. I love Killzone, so for an Early Access of Ghost in the Shell, that's pretty good in my book.

The tutorial is a bit rough and needs touched up. The part where you learn to hack the Tachicoma was the most annoying part of the tutorial, it didn't really hint that you just needed to start hacking and once it started, it would still continue while you move around after the hack button released. So I ended up having to play that part over and over again for about 5 attempts before realizing that I could shoot and hack at the same time and I didn't need to keep the hack button pressed.

Ya the games alright. I just unlocked the Scar and love it's accuracy. Also got my first Octakill today as well. Would have had a Decakill but my Q from my Rocket Arms didn't come up when I hit the key. For a FPS it has a good feel to it. I have played Killzone and got to agree it's up there with it's likability. I'm enjoying it far more than Counter Strike anyway. Still for being in Early Access i'm impressed. The key feature I like is the Operatives Skills and the Sync up's. You can really be strategic with your teammates. Wish user's would run the Nano-gel more often. Regen's your lost health and gives you a little extra what's not to like.

The tutorial does need some work. Hacking the Tachicoma wasn't to bad, but bringing it's health down before the time ran out was a drag. Took me 2-3 attempts. What was a pain was the knife kill from behind. If you didn't get it just right had to redo it because you would get spotted. That took me the longest amount of time to clear.
