    Do we have any one who is interested/ practicing game design?

    I personally am A huge fan of RPG's, I'm currently in the process of making my own rpg, So I was wondering if there was any other game designers who would have tips/tricks for character development, Plot, etc. Or the opinions of gamers who also like rpgs, and what they find interesting.

    Character interaction seems to me like a art form. There are a lot of rpgs the more memorable ones are the ones with the characters that can hold awesome, epic, and /or hilarious conversations. That's just a personal view though probably why I dislike most western style rpgs with the silent protagonist and all.

    One summer I took a class on 3d video game design. 1 month learning c++ from nothing to building a game may have been a bit much, but I have been intrigued by it ever since. We were making the battle room from ender's game, but all we finished with was a tech demo of the room, 'stars'and loading screen. The characters models were only half done and writing AI ......well you get the idea.

    As for tips you may want to ask people who are working on the JAN realms game for the site. I think they were still working on it although Im not sure what they are calling it now.

    As for other general advice, there is plenty of reading material and videos with stuff to help you think. (extra credits on youtube www.youtube.com/user/ExtraCreditz)

    Currently I have the Rpg maker vx ace software, to help me in game development,  I know it gets a lot of criticism but I don't have any formal experience in coding or design so it's really the only way I can currently create a rpg. I mean its probably gonna end up being pretty standard, But it will be mine.

    @Doomguy  I dislike silent protagonist especially in games where there are a lot of character interactions, My game is gonna put a lot of effort into getting to know the characters I'm thinking of following kind of like a mass effect conversation system, where you give a overview of what you want the character to say, even though the words won't be exact you still get control over what the main character says and how he develops. what are your opinions on those?
