Maintenance Forum release notes 09/22/2014

    This thread will give a brief explanation of the work done to the site during it's last maintenance on 09/22/2014.
    • xenForo upgraded to version 1.4.1. Some new features include:
    • Several add-ons updated.
    • Calendar added to the forum. Site events will be added to the calendar as they come up. Member's birthdays should also appear on the calendar.
    • A "Fixed" Thread Prefix has been added for the Broken Video section of the forum. Content Managers should be able to edit the prefix into the title for any issue they resolve.

    I would like to add that calendar permissions can be set on an individual user basis. So club creators will have the ability to add their events to the calendar. All you have to do is navigate to the existing thread or during thread creation go to "thread tools" and select "calendar add" as listed in the following screen shot.

    You can also add threads to the calendar multiples times to signify a start and end date.

    I only ask that events be scheduled responsibly. Only club creators will have the ability to add calendar events. If you are a club moderator and wish you have an event scheduled simply create the thread and then contact your clubs creator to have it added to the calendar.

    And as mentioned above, please follow the calendar as anything relevant will be scheduled there.

    Edit: Permissions set for active club creators.
