The official Twitter account for Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis — the new television anime of Buronson, Nobuhiko Horie, and Tetsuo Hara's Souten no Ken (Fist of the Blue Sky) manga — announced four more cast members for the series on Sunday. Junya Enoki will play Ramon Kasumi. The other new cast members include Bin Shimada, Kouzou Douzaka, and Yu Kobayashi.

Comic Zenon is also streaming an eight-minute video for the series, which previews the new characters near the end of the video.

The anime premiered on Amazon Prime Video in Japan on April 2, before later premiering on TV on April 9. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.

The anime's website is listing the series with 24 episodes on four home video releases.

Kouichi Yamadera returns to the lead role of Kenshiro Kasumi, after also starring in the previous Fist of the Blue Sky television anime in 2006.

Yoshio Kazumi (Ajin episode director) is directing the anime at Polygon Pictures, and Satoshi Ozaki supervising and writing the series scripts. Kazuma Teshigahara (Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind) and Hiromi Satō are designing the characters. The artist AK-69 is performing the anime's opening theme song "Sōten no Hate ni" (To the Ends of the Blue Sky), while Sumire Uesaka is performing the ending theme song "Inori no Hoshizora" (Starry Night of Prayer).
