    Part of The Midnight Channel's 1 year anniversary event.

    AC: Complete contains a considerable amount of new footage that the original version lacks, as well as roughly a thousand revised scenes. This adds a total of 26 minutes to the film.

    Some of the new scenes include a more in-depth look at the Geostigma, Denzel and Kadaj's origins, as well as an extended fight between Cloud and Sephiroth.

    The Japanese release of this edition features a new ending track from Kyosuke Himuro called "Safe and Sound", with additional lyrics from My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way. The track replaces Himuro's previous track "Calling" from the original cut of the film. However, in the North American release, the song "Calling" remains, and "Safe and Sound" is absent.

    I have to admit, although it did have extra content, it still couldn't save the film from being just a big show off graphic cut-scenes. I wish the story was a little better for this to be considered a sequel to the game. It would be nice to play another FF7 game that was considered a sequel. If only the storyline was as good as the original game ={

    Honestly, I thought the added scenes almost made the movie a little worse, because the pacing felt slower and many of the story-based scenes still didn't bring the emotional impact that it needed to match the quality of the game. We didn't need a more in-depth look at geostigma; what we needed is some more character development between Cloud, Tifa, and the rest of the cast. A lot of them were practically just cameos for the Bahamut fight and then became wholly irrelevant thereafter. I would prefer to just take the extended Sephiroth fight and ditch the rest of the additional scenes because they only slowed the story down instead of making it better.
