Aniplex of America announced at its panel at A-Kon on Saturday that Aniplex will release the English version of its Fate/Grand Order smartphone game in Canada and the United States on June 25 for both iOS and Android.

Aniplex of America also began streaming a trailer for the role-playing game on Tuesday that highlights the Lancer class. The company previously streamed trailers highlighting the Saber, Rider, Assassin, and Caster classes.

Delightworks is developing the North American app, and Aniplex is publishing the app. Aniplex of America is handling PR and marketing for the game.

Aniplex launched a Facebook campaign for the game last month. The more likes the Facebook page gets, the more bonuses players will receive once the game launches.

Aniplex revealed that those who are already playing the Japanese version of the game will not be able to transfer their data to the new version, but players are still free to play both the English and Japanese version separately. The game will launch with content up through chapter 2.

Aniplex released the game in Japan in summer 2015 and it has been downloaded more than 9 million times. Aniplex has released all seven chapters of part one in Japan, and the first chapter of part 1.5. The company has already revealed that it will try to release part 2 this year in Japan. The game is also currently available in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Kinoko Nasu supervised and wrote the scenario with Yūichirō Higashide and Hikaru Sakurai. Takashi Takeuchi is in charge of character designs and art direction.

The game inspired the 74-minute Fate/Grand Order: First Order television anime special that aired in Japan on December 31. Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the special the same day.

The game is also inspiring a stage play in July.
