Notice False Google Phishing Warning

We are aware of the issue where Google is flagging our site for phishing. According to Google, our sites safe browsing status is "not dangerous." Yet, some pages on this website send visitors to dangerous websites. Upon investigation the issue is most likely related to our ad service. Google’s Safe Browsing technology examines billions of URLs per day looking for unsafe websites. It is likely that during a scan, Google bots encountered one of these redirects and determined our site was fraudulent. As most of you may remember, our ads will occasionally throw redirects, sometimes to malicious pages.

These are the steps we are taking to fix this issue.

• Removing RevenueHits ads from our site, permanently. (Another thread regarding ads will be made later)
• Filing a reconsideration request through Google.
• Requesting an official review from Google.

If Google finds that our site is clean, warnings from browsers and search results will be removed within 72 hours.

In the meantime you can also help our site by going to https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_error/ and reporting the phishing incident as incorrect.

I will post updates about the process when they are made. Thank you all for being patient during this time.

Update!

Google has received and processed your security review request. Unfortunately, our systems still indicate that URLs on http://justdubsonline[.]net/ contain content that can harm visitors. Browsers such as Google Chrome will continue to display a warning when users visit your site or click links on your site that lead to downloads containing malware or unwanted software.

Google denied our review. They sited a small list of URLs which are in question.



This pretty much confirmed it being our ad service as there is no code on these pages which can be considered as harmful. To be on the safe side I completely deleted these pages. The review was resubmitted and I will post back once I hear back from them.

 

(Another) Update!

Review denied. A few more embed pages were cited as the reason. We've come to the conclusion that the likely culprit is in fact (like some members suggested) one of the video hosts. The host that these embed pages had in common was flashx.tv.

flashx.tv is completely removed from Google search results. Furthermore, I checked the safe browsing status of flashx.tv through Google's safe browsing transparency report and it reported the following.



Our plan is to discontinue the use of flashx and remove all instances of it from our site. Thanks for your patience while we sort this out.

 

Daily update:

@Laximus has informed me of an announcement from Flashx.

"If you get a malware warning, you can ignore this now.
The error was corrected. PropellerAds.com had an error in the system.
Complaints can be sent directly to PropellerAds: [email protected]
All infected advertisements of PropellerAds have been deleted."

I have requested another review from Google. Laximus and @steveyk both use flashx as one of their main video hosts when they upload. Flashx accounts for about 50% of the working players on this site. It is in our best interest that we try every opinion possible before resorting to deleting all of the Flashx videos.
