This movie was good sure, but honestly I liked the little ten minute short of Eclair and Momon more than the movie itself. The shounen theme of friendship I think was better displayed in that ten minutes than the entire movie plus we get more screen time of these two characters instead of sharing the time with the rest of the cast. So its good to see it included with the dub. Momon was awesome in it, guardian bird toy for the win.

However as an avid sub watcher of this series, I wont be rewatching either of them dubbed nor the series, but it is good to know that the stubborn bunch that refuse to move beyond dubs for one thing will get to see this now as well. More fans, there must be more fans for this franchise.

I haven't watched the movie yet. After the anime ended I kind of clung to the new stuff that came out after it. I just finally watched the last OVA last week and still haven't seen the Rave cross over either. I did watch that little short which takes place before the movie. But I have nothing in contract to compare it with until I watch the movie. I'll probably watch it this weekend along with DBZ Battle of the Gods.
