Again, I haven't made an AMV, yet.

However, I think this is the place to start.

I'm probably just going to grab a bunch of random clips from a bunch of random Christmas arcs.

That, or 'Always My Santa!'.

 

Well if you need any recommendation such as acquiring software and so on, feel free to ask, I can also make tutorials. You also see on this forum "how to make an AMV" thread, its a work in progress but may give you ideas,

To be fair, that is a good place to start when, I first started making AMVs , its good to just throw in random clips, get use to the software and soon you will progress!

 

i never really made an amv before though. the most i could do is provide some ideas but that's it

 

And that's still helping, providing ideas is the fundamental ground to get an AMV going so whatever you think of , don't hesitate to just post it

in addition to My Santa, you guys could do some scenes from the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Hayate no Gotoku, Chuunibyou, Tokyo Godfathers, etc. (cant think of much right now)
for a song i would say a nice touching song like Hello, Shooting Star by Moumoon, but not as depressing

 

I thought of using this song, but am not sure permission would be granted.

 

If you cant think of good music, you-tube "happy cheerful music " Christmas music " etc and just go from there , yea im also thinking of some toradora scenes to, as there are a few episodes where there are Christmas themes. I myself don't know a lot of anime where its Christmas specific though ... Itl be a hard balance to find the right song for the right anime I think hehe

Thats a good song, hmm you could always try to put the song on YT with a black screen and render, that's what I do to see if the song in question will be blocked by YT. The second way is that you could try and ask owner permission but in all honesty ide only advise if option 1 has failed. Plus you can put the song link in the description.
