    The Dubtopian Review (DTR) Youtube Channel was created to showcase a variety of video content created by the community for the community and to also let the world know about our awesomeness!

    maybe we could have video contests of some sort. like, maybe animation contests. also, we can have people watching anime with commentary or doing reviews on them? :) i would watch that

    Not too sure about what type of contests we could hold. We can't do an AMV contest as that is what the AMV club is doing but they will be using the channel to show their videos.

    We probably won't be able to allow people to watch anime with or without commentary as that would go against DTR's TOS but we could do video reviews. Videos reviews make the most sense as we are a reviewing community.

    lol well then, ill be looking forward to the reviews :) and as for contests.... i dont know exactly where i was going with that, just trying to throw something out there ;P

    OK guys, I've recently been promoted to official staff member as Youtube Admin and so need to get the Youtube Channel to be more active with new content.

    I've been speaking to Red and she has suggested a few ideas for the channel that would be great additions.

    In addition to the podcasts (which I believe @sporadic is working on), AMVs and anime reviews, Red has suggested:
    product unwrappings, AMV tutorials, cosplay tutorials and convention footage.

    So I ask all you Community Club members to help me out in sourcing this material. If you can make any of these then that would be great, if not then spread the word on the forum to get the wider DTR community involved.

    @rodrule - you mentioned you might do a Baccano review, I wonder if you still intend to do so?

    Hmm, I think my YouTube days of making reviews is over. A lot of people seem to be stalling their projects at the moment from what I've read. Someone should make a graphic intro for people who will make videos exclusive/related to the site. Don't think I can post any links for an example, as it counts as linking people to external sites. But, I'm sure you know what I mean as a lot of YouTubers tend to have one if they want people to view their content on another site.

    @crazy-potato I actually was gonna ask you about that but you beat me to it. Those tutorials would be a great addition and would give the channel a more useful purpose.
