    Need some event / activity suggestions for the month of December which are related to Christmas or winter. The following will be making their yearly appearances.

    Secret Santa
    Best holiday decorations
    Forum theme / scavenger hunt
    Holiday banner submissions
    TMC holiday anime
    Film Club holiday film
    Anime Cafe winter anime

    How about for a event can have a build a Mini Gingerbread House or Gingerbread Cookie. Could also maybe do a Trivial questions game with questions pertaining to the Winter Holidays. Make a thread for anyone that may be making a New Year's Resolution and share them among the other members. Also make a thread for what Winter Ales folks be drinking. Perhaps even handmade ornaments but centered around a theme. And lastly have a tread for us to share favorite Holiday music. For now that's all I can think up. Hope you like the suggestions.

    Lots of good ideas.

    Will there also be a Winter AMV contest?

    Maybe a winter themed picture contest. Members create a piece of art like a craft or picture based on an anime. You could draw characters from a series with winter clothes or for example if someone knitted a scarf like the one Hinata made Naruto in The Last: Naruto the Movie. This one is more open ended so it would need to be voted on by members of the site or admins since there is no definitive way to win.

    If we can get enough AMV's for the contest I don't see why we couldn't. We just don't get many AMV submissions, I did one for Halloween and got only 2 AMV's that were made by a members. The rest I received were personal favorites. If we were to do one the AMV would have to be created by the person submitting it for it to count. I would use them for the AMV or the week and we can do a vote at the end of the month of which one everyone liked for the AMV of the month contest

    The Snow Ball Fight event would sound neat. The rules would be similar to the Flaming Pumpkin, only the player is eliminated when hit with the snowball multiple times, say 3 times.

    Well if the event is in the area that has snow, you could do a frozen theme (seems silly) But 'who can do the best snowman... (I forgot the little snowman's name) or even make an anime snowman.

    If you refer to the movie Frozen, then the snowman's name was Olaf. I think the ideal snowman for a winter theme would be Lucy Heartfilia's little snow buddy ( at least it looks like a snow man).

    EDIT
    Maybe there could also be an event for snowflakes to be submitted my members, and these snow flakes could be collectively used as part of the background for the winter theme.
