Series of anime shorts premiered on Tuesday
[IMG]Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it will simulcast the television anime of merryhachi's Love To-LIE-Angle (Tachibanakan To Lie Angle) manga worldwide outside of Asia. The first three-and-a-half-minute episode premiered on Crunchyroll on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

    Crunchyroll describes the story:

The protagonist of the "lucky pervert" harem manga is a girl?!
Natsuno Hanabi is returning to her home in the countryside for the first time in six years to attend high school. She was expecting to live in the luxurious designer-condo-style dormitory Tachibana Manor... but due to an error, she ends up in the run-down apartment building Tachibana House. On her very first day there, she encounters a mysterious naked girl, witnesses an older girl in an embarrassing moment, and even ends up face-to-face with an embarrassing view of her close friend from childhood. And... she doesn't see any of this as "lucky" at all, okay?!

Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Miss Bernard said., Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Ojisan to Marshmallow, OZMAFIA!!) is directing the anime at Creators in Pack (Miss Bernard said., Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Ojisan to Marshmallow, OZMAFIA!!, Military!) and Studio Lings. WORDS in STEREO is in charge of the series scripts, and Yutsuko Hanai is designing the characters. The idol unit Erabareshi (My First Girlfriend is a Gal ending theme) performed the theme song "Motto, Nee Motto" (More, Hey More).

The manga launched in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2014. Digital Manga Publishing published the first volume of the manga in English last year.
