Manga creator Ryūhei Tamura is ending his Beelzebub series is this year's 13th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Monday. However, he will start a spinoff series in Jump Next!! magazine in May. Shueisha will publish the manga's 26th compiled book volume in April, followed by the 27th in June.

The story began with delinquent and first-year high school student Tatsumi Oga. Tatsumi attends a school for troublemakers where he is lauded as "the "strongest juvenile delinquent." One day, Tatsumi pulls a man out of a river only to have him split in half and reveal a baby. The boy is Beelzebub, the son of the Demon King and now Tatsumi's responsibility.

Tamura began serializing Beelzebub in 2009, and Shueisha published the 25th volume last month. The manga inspired a 60-episode anime series that ran from 2011 to 2012 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
