Anime that you didn't like?

Is there a anime that you didn't like or care for; for a variety of different reasons?

I guess the only reason I hate Eva Genesis is because of him! Just look at him! He would make even *insert favorite anime* agonizing!

First time I heard of someone who hates Clannad. Almost makes it seem more approachable for me considering I been avoiding it like a plague forever now. Now I know if I hate it I won't be the only one who gets clobbered by it's fans lol.

 

My bride is a mermaid.

I only made it through 4 episodes. The dub was absolutely horrendous, the characters were just plain bad, and the only redeeming quality it had was the art and animation. I've considered going back and giving the sub a chance, but I honestly don't think it's going to make much of a difference.

I will add more to this list. For now the reason for both is I didn't find either of them funny.

 

From the popular ones: TTGL and Magi. Although in both i really did like the characters -_-

 

I won't say my obvious ones.

Symphogear, the first season.
Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, the second season makes it better.
But it's just the first season the so... dumb.

Code Geass. I couldn't stand it. I initially started watching it for the mechs and as soon as I saw one I knew it was a mistake. I still soldiered on even though the only thing that drew me to it had disappeared because apparently it is a brilliant anime but from the few episodes I watched I found out that not only is every one anorexic, but the main character is definitely one of the least likeable protagonists of all time. I have NO idea how this show has such a following. I still  haven't managed to finish it yet....

You guys worrying about Clannad fans have it easy. I have to put up with more fans, and they are way more hardcore.....

Now that I think of it, thankfully there is not an anime I would actually defend to the death. Well except Legend of Galactic Heroes but the only complaint I hear is that it's slow and boring. An understandable sentiment since it's not for everyone. Never heard of someone actually finish it then say it sucked, the idea is blasphemy.

You might wanna add ''in my opinion'' to that. I think Lelouch is one of the most awesome main chars of all time. Opinions differ, you know.

 

I didn't like or enjoy Noir at all, I was actually bored to death because of all bounty hunting and you hear only one soundtrack most of the time in the anime. In my MAL it's the only anime with the lowest score

 

You know what I hate? When the first season of an anime shows so much promise with a legit storyline and characters but then the later seasons decide to shove fanservice that ruins any character they had down my throat. Don't tease me with a storyline and likable characters if all you were going to do was make everyone an unlikeable pervert in the later seasons. The Familiar of Zero was so guilty of this. On it's own it might not be bad but compared to the first season it was way too much of a change that I could not accept.

edit: Whoa Code Geass haters? I...I've seen it all now. Now we need the anti Death Note guys to come out. Any ultra extreme Macross guys that despise Robotech to the core out there also? Don't worry my laser gun is only set to stun with a small chance of causing second degree burns and loss of bladder control

 

If there's anything the Internet has taught me it's certainly that nothing gets left unhated.

I was really loving Code Geass up until that ending. Again, checking my DMWL review will tell you why.
