    We are aware of the current situation where some members have been experiencing occasional redirects through our ad service. We are actively working to resolve this issue. Please check back over the next couple days for further updates.

    Thank you for taking action on this occurrence. I was afraid I got a computer virus and ran a full system scan, only to find the redirects still occurring. I look forward to the end of redirects.

    The ad I suspected being the culprit was disabled for the time being. I'll do some more testing tonight and see if the problem still occurs. If the ad in question is in fact the one causing the redirects it will be replaced with an entirely new ad unit.

    I just got redirected to a James Bond Specter website, It doesn't do this on my phone, only desktop. i might just use my phone for this site.

    Ack. Got redirected to another page 4 times within 5 minutes. I wonder which ad is the culprit. Have there always been dating ads here? For some reason I started noticing those. Wonder if that and the redirects are linked.

    Yeah a day or two ago the same thing happened to me and I ended up at the page that Jenova mention three times. I'd also like to ad that the last site I ended up at in the string of five redirects I went thru wouldn't allow me to return to JDO. I had to close the tab to fix it. I'd really would like to know how these kind of ads work their way into sites....

    EDIT: And i just got redirected again @.@

    We have determined that both ad styles on the forum were causing the redirects. The ads on the forum are currently disabled but are still active on the streaming end of our site. I'm waiting on a response from their support team now. I'm assuming because of the holidays they might be a little slow to respond. Thanks for having patience and we'll post an update as soon as we hear something.

    There were none for a day or two. That was a nice break. I understand that some ads were disabled in the forum for a while, but those are needed for income. I like this forum, so I can live with the redirects.

    I can until I can't even read a damn thread because every time I load the page I get a redirect almost immediately.

    That happened earlier I finally had to turn on my add block so I could read the damn thread. I want them to get add revenue but it's just not acceptable if I can't even use the site properly because of redirects.

    I get it. Usually I just stop the page from loading when I see enough of it has loaded, seems to cut it off and prevent a redirect from occurring as easily. Sometimes the redirects allow me to go back to the forum page, but I really do hate it when I must close the tab.

    Ads were replaced on the forum. Hopefully it was just as simple as creating new ad units. Let me know if the redirects continue to occur.

    @Sporadic my antivirus keeps detecting the banner ads as harmful. And, it may or may not be related, but my laptop has bluescreened 5 times just this afternoon.

    What antivirus do you use? Oh and it's be very difficult for this site to cause a BSOD unless your computer had faulty RAM. (Other scareware sites have scripts that eat system resources and can cause a system to crash, but again, this site it's be unlikely)

    Avast.
    Strange... I have like 16 gig of RAM, and at the time of the blue screens, I only had like 5 tabs open, compared to right now being like 12. Haven't had any more blue screens since unpausing my adblocker for this domain...
    Can't remember. I'll repause in the morning and see if Avast activates and (hopefully not) if I get bluescreens.

    Redirect update. It appears creating the new ad units only stopped the redirects for a couple days. Members are now experiencing them again. I was only able to create this experience one time yesterday.

    Unfortunately I am not in a position to disable the ads because we already lost weeks worth of ad revenue the last time I disabled them. I have already contacted customer support and am waiting to hear back from them. I'll keep everyone posted on what's going on as soon as I hear back from them.

    Worst case scenario we push forward with a new ad host.
