420 Event

Some of you know me well enough to know that i wouldn't let 420 members slip by without planning a special screening. I wanna get some suggestions on the weirdest anime movies, short series (6 episodes max) or OVA you've watched or heard of. Something trippy, random or off the wall like FLCL or Dead Leaves (but not Dead Leaves because we've already watched that). We'll take suggestions for awhile and then we'll move the best candidates over to voting.

@Supernatural-Knight I remember you suggesting something in Skype. I can't seem to locate it at the moment so would you mind posting your suggestions in here as well?

 

Yeah no worries, although after reading short series that eliminated the 2 series [only one of which I would of really recommended for a trip] but I'll just post them all again anyway.

Its kind of hard because after FLCL most of the ones suitable for this kind of event are music videos that are officially anime, and the ones that aren't are kind of too psychological for it to match this theme. I've watched a lot of shit but even I'm struggling with this.
I guess any of this guy's work could also count, but once again they are music video kind of things

Sweet, thanks. I probably won't do this little event until next month, since our December schedule is so busy. But if nobody suggests anything we'll just vote on FLCL and your 4 suggestions.

 

Gonna have to go with FLCL in order to have something short enough to be viewed in one sitting and long enough than a music video.

 

Maybe if i drink enough i’ll actually like it.

After listening to everyones reasons for not liking the show they all seemed pretty silly lol.
