200 Members Event

    Once this group reaches 200 members we will do a special double feature event for Anime Saturday's to celebrate. I'm thinking either two movies on Saturday or one movie on Saturday and one movie on Sunday. Currently, we're at 149 members (largest group on the site woot). In order to reach 200 quicker everyone should use the "send invite" button on the group tabs to send an invite to all of your friends on the forum. The quicker we reach this the quicker we can hold the event. I'll also be taking suggestions if anyone has any ideas to improve the events.

    I'd suggest we have a movie marathon, though I can't think of a decent movie series to watch. Does anyone know of any good ones?

    Last time we did 2 movies the first one was loaded with people and the 2nd one (Conan) was only like 3 people and that made it quite boring. Despite Conan Movie 1 being very active and fun.

    Maybe it would be different this time since its an event, but it might be better to do 1 on saturday and 1 on sunday.

    Alright. So we're all on the same page that it should be a marathon of something. Maybe we can start a few hours earlier when we do this so we have time to watch more stuff. We'll all vote on what to watch. But it's not going to be very limited. The range of nominations will be a little more open this time around. 2 or 3 movies from a certain series, A short anime series like FLCL (something around 5-8 episodes), or even an OVA or ONA series; El Hazard: The Magnificent World, Kyousougiga.

    I was actually gonna say we should 1 anime series of decent length and do it, like as you said something with 8 episodes, but 12 episodes as well.
