Thanks. It's nice that you cared enough to comment. Not a lot of people does that. It's like, you show them some of your flaws, and they suddenly forget about your existence unless you offended them on their worldview about the latest election.

I recently decided to devote my time towards more meaningful prospects instead of dwelling at the forum so much. I think I just need some time away from people for a while.

You're welcome. I like to think that showing some of your flaws allow you to know who your true friends are. The ones who stay are true and the ones not around can't even be bothered.

Sometimes it's best to leave something and deal with it later when your head is clear and refreshed. I'm around if you ever need to talk though. :)

I'd like to relate it more to getting a pet, because those who are willing to abandon a pet after the novelty wears off are not the kind of people you'd wanna be associated with anyway.

I don't like people who do that either. No one really has a right to tell you what you personally like/enjoy is crap or undesirable. You like what you like and you shouldn't be made to feel like you shouldn't.

The other reason, well, I had an argument with a member here a few days ago... which, again, was kinda my fault. I had a manic episode. I was very irritable, and Supernatural-knight just came along and said the wrong thing at the wrong time. I lost it and just went on a tirade. So, now I'm insecure about looking like an idiot who said some stupid stuff, and thus I'm feeling distanced.

It happens everytime I go to a new forum. I have attachment issues, so if I get too close to people at a forum, stupid shit like this happens. I argue with people because I get insecure, I get paranoid, I get over-sensitive, etc.

Well in my case, I went from basically not sleeping at all to sleeping through (most) of the night, so it's a win for me. Also helped me deal with and find ways to alleviate with anxiety and various emotional issues :3

I'm one of those that didn't like its execution, yes. It tries to be Shiki, but, here's what I said: "Had the potential to tell a tearjerking tragedy about human nature in monsters but is bogged down by poorly developed and uninspired characters."

Ahh ok... I didn't think it was too bad. Waiting for the third season. But I'm also waiting on it's live action.

Yeah, horror anime isn't exactly a platform for quality storytelling. :P Seems that the Japanese have trouble making things scary in animation.

I actually wanted Tokyo Ghoul to be the new Shiki, but... I can't remember exactly why it disappointed me. The characters, perhaps. Too cheesy or boring. I remember there was this effeminate villain, Tsukiyama. What a totally annoying character. Not even funny at all.
