League of Legends: Recent Match Talk

Brag about how awesome you did in a particular match, or rant about how bad your teammates were, or talk on how you got carried here. Or simply talk about how unique a match was; maybe the enemy had a themed team, or they had an all AD carry team or something. Or maybe you played with a famous/pro player. Just talk about interesting matches you want to talk about!

I got a 31-8-16 as Katarina, as well as getting my first Quadra kill in an ARAM match.

 

I may have only recently started but i have watched i lot of my friends play, to know more or less exactly what i am doing and it seemed in my last match that for some reason 3 of my team mates decided to follow me and another player bottom leaving nobody mid and nobody Top because the other person decided to jungle -.- that was not a fun match.

 

@MiniSiets For a second I thought you were talking about like release Xin Zhao, then I saw the Ravenous Hydra item lol. I remember my first penta was as Riven with my friend playing support Karthus. I don't know how we won that lane lol.

@Deathfire You should try using smartcast with Katarina. It makes chaining her passive in ARAM a ton easier.

 

I just had a secondary event as Lissandra against an Ashe, I won and got a fancy crown and buff for it, it doesn't mention any benefits so maybe its hidden?

Are there any secondary events like this or is it just because of the freljord hype?

 

Each match-up of the 3 Freljord champions should have one, so they'd be Ashe+Liss, Ashe+Sej, and Sej+Liss. Actually, I've only heard of these with Sejuani and Lissandra, so I'm not sure if Ashe is involved or if you have to have Lissandra. What does the buff do?

There's also the hunt between Kha'Zix and Rengar. That's all so far, though. Riot may add more... probably Tryndamere vs. Aatrox?

 

Well, the tooltip says that i just won control over freljord. No benefits are mentioned in there. The only cool thing about it is the crown. It suits lissandra very well with her already queen-ish attitude.

Zilean and Volibear gain buffs when killing each other in a match.

 

Yeah, it's a reference to an old running joke.  One of the game designers, Zileas (Zilean's name is based off of his), was really against adding armored bears into the game for some reason and it was fun on the forums.  So now Volibear (name based on a high profile Rioter, Volibar) is basically our armored bear.
