    You know I think I'll actually go for Jellal. In terms of magic both as s class I believe so they are both just as magical so the one with the better character wins.

    Now look at Mira.
    Her sister "dies" and she loses all her fighting spirit for years, she actually loses er powers, and she turns into a "Proper lady". She eventually gets her powers back but even when her sister comes back alive she is still a proper lady and never tries to return to her real self. I guess you could argue the proper lady her was her new true self but I don't agree. She became like that from the pain of losing her sister so she should have at least partially reverted back when either she got her powers back and over came the past or her sister came back.
    So while she isn't a bad character she is rather weak willed.
    now look at jellal
    kept as a slave by a cult group to do hard labor building a tower when he was a kid. His friend awakens to magic power and they stage a revolt but her is possessed and corrupted by an evil force forcing her to flee while re-enslaving his friends and the only people he was close to. When he is finally defeated and later he tries his best to make up for the past even allowing himself to be arrested and later creating a guild specifically made to fight dark guilds.
    So even after all that happened to him and the guilt of everything he did he still tries his best to do something. Unlike Mira who just kinda gives up.

    So +Jellal.

    Dont blame that on Mirajane, blame that on Fairy Tail author! And i prefer her peace loving self. We don't want a white haired Erza and there needs to be some peace in the Fairy Tail guild. It would get annoying if 2 girls become monsters when the smallest thing happens.

    @Batosai it's just how you want. Don't say "we don't want", because I personally do want
    how you say white haired Erza. And you can't say "Dont blame that on Mirajane, blame that on Fairy Tail author!". Following your "rule" every character can't be hated but instead the author should be hated if you don't like a character... it doesn't make sense. It's the same as saying that Natsu isn't amazing, it's author who's amazing.

    Jellal in the tower of heave arc. Basis for power comparison in the two characters.

    Jellal's thought projection Siegrain was considered a wizard saint. And that's just half of his power since it was only a thought projection. Mira is only ranked S Class, still powerful but not even close to Jellal.
