what's your favorite anime?

Pretty self explanatory. I haven't watched much anime personally, but my favorite so far would be Hellsing Ultimate.

 

This thread HAS to exist somewhere, but because I can't find it, I'll just leave it be for now.

My favorite anime is Hatsukoi Limited and my very close second favorite is Kuroko no Basket [All of its seasons].

Kinda torn now. Methinks Psycho-Pass might start edging into the lead on my favorites list.

 

@Supernatural-Knight other series that I'm watching right now are Deadman Wonderland, Sword Art Online, Btooom! & just starting on Death Note. When it comes to anime movies tho, Ninja Scroll tops my list.

 

I'm only a handful of episodes in on the 1st season of SAO, so might not even bother with other adaptations. I'll have to check out Rainbow.

 

You have 2 options at this point:
1. Drop it on whatever episode you're on
2. Watch all of it including the OVA recaps and S2

 

@dedseed1 I'd go with option 2 or at least the 1st season. That way you can finish the series and make the judgment in watching the season 2.

For my favorite anime....... I don't know since there's a lot of anime I have yet to watch. I could probably make a top 10 but if I had to chose, I think I would go with the Initial D series since it appeals to me more.

 

My current favorite animes are Soul Eater and Fairy Tail.

I'm enjoying SE way more than I thought I would. Psycho Pass is pretty high up on my list as well.

 

It slows down a bit at the end. And, going into it blind, it's kind of easy to expect that you might not like the characters or find the show to be overly-stylized. But, for me, the whole thing just works.

Have you seen Psycho-Pass 2, yet? I loved Psycho-Pass. But the second season was handled by some other studio. And they just, for like of a better term, didn't seem to get what made Psycho-Pass great.

 

Haven't had a chance for season 2 yet, but you're not the first I've heard say that it's a disappointment.
