Azraled: School Days, I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing ://

You liar, you watched the in 30 seconds vid so you knew that happened so what could possibly shock you?
Can't believe you enjoyed that show, yeah you prefer the twisted ones but that was so garbage that I couldn't take anything enjoyable from it. I watched the ending 5 times and it still didn't help, so I searched for every bad ending in the game and that still wasn't good enough.
If I were to give this show one compliment it would be a great choice for music in that scene.

One last thing since I saw your comment on Skype, school days isn't a thriller, taken straight from MAL it is only Drama, Romance, School, Harem, Seinen

Haha "good harem", nice joke. You clearly don't remember my most hated genres, and this has two of them built straight in so that is a big issue for what is wrong with this show. I could have enjoyed the emotional break downs if it were used in a better series but in this I couldn't stand it. To me everything was just so slow and boring. I hated every minute of it apart from the last 5.

Thriller is used to describe shows with crimes and espionage situations, simply hiding under the guise of murder in the final ep doesn't change the fact that it was a dull romance harem till then. A murder did happen but nothing happened with it after that, so I can't accept this to be called a thriller.
VN? Who mentioned a VN? Like I would be playing this shit VN in the first place.
Anything that follows a romance based story I instantly hate and this one felt so excruciatingly boring while watching that it felt like by the end I'd be the one to have died. I would have preferred to watch paint dry for 5 hours followed by the end of the show.
If it were just those last 5 mins I'd rate the short a 7 because they are good but everything else can go to hell.

tl;dr I hate the romance genre, school days is romance therefore I hate school days.

 

This may all be true but the way it was handled to me was absolutely horrible. I know the slow pacing is needed and all that other crap but I just couldn't take it. Every episode felt like it took forever to finish when I believe I didn't even take a break for lunch the day I watched this. I like the idea behind an anime depicting screwed up relationships but definitely not how this was written.
You ever watch an anime that was so dull that you could barely stand to click the next episode? That was what school days was like for me.

The VN is the game, and I acknowledged it because when I finished the series I had heard that there were many other bad endings. Since I hated all of the characters I wanted to watch as many bad endings as possible from the game to see if it'd change my impression of how much I hate this show. It didn't, but at least I did like the other bad endings more than every ep but the last 5 mins.
Two of the most memorable bad endings I watched from the VN are holding someones hand while she jumps in front of a train, the scene fades out with Makoto holding her arm.
And the long haired one jumping from a tall building head first into the pavement below in front of Makoto and his chosen girlfriend of that route.
I like watching bad endings in case you couldn't tell.

I totally get that, when I was only part way through it felt more like I'd sooner die than finish watching this show it was that boring. Although I find something weird, you hated this anime but you list says you rated it a 3 instead of 1, why is that?

 

I see, I never feel like that. Instead I feel like watching the next episode will be the cause of my death. It happens for a lot of shows but School Days is the only one I've ever sat through in one sitting. I am honestly I lived through it so it deserved the 1 rating well and truly as far as I'm concerned.

So you know the feeling then. Imagine that feeling but for every episode in one sitting. Harsh stuff to get through.
